Then took off fuel pipes and I noticed a very very small hole in the vacuum pipe, so decided, it couldn't do any harm to cut it out and refit it, well blow me she is now running like a dream! should have thought when Fossie mentioned it could have been a problem on the vacuum side of the fuel tap!! Cheers deeds for the lend of one to rule that out!

A small hole causes woe
After all my diagnostics and hours in the garage with an electric tester and god knows what else, to no avail, still misfiring like a git.
Then took off fuel pipes and I noticed a very very small hole in the vacuum pipe, so decided, it couldn't do any harm to cut it out and refit it, well blow me she is now running like a dream! should have thought when Fossie mentioned it could have been a problem on the vacuum side of the fuel tap!!
