Supposed you become 100 years old you can use the ring almost half a century. You just have to think like an economist to make things really desirable, eh?
Running after a taxi saves more money than running after a bus, doesn't it?

Re: katana ring?
If you don't mind plastic then it's crying out to be done by a 3D printer... just need a grand to buy one and then a few months 3D CAD training
or...

OK not that colour, they will do custom designs. Maybe there is a UK person doing it? Haven't looked yet but there are lots doing it...

That way each ring could be made to your own ring size fairly easily.

Re: katana ring?
If a plastic one were available I could get a mould made outta moddling clay and then something cast from it I'm sure... What's needed other than a 3d printer?... Hands up who had one of them then!

Re: katana ring?
Should i say i have access to a 3d printer
you don't need training, go & get sketchup, youtube the training videos, i'm currently looking at katana trophies, I've never used the software before & we had a training session by a student last friday, it's not rocket science
so if you can send me the sketchup file (STL file format) but I can convert, I can print it, we only have a small machine before you ask for full bobywork parts
it's done by weight, if it takes a lot we will need to pay for the reel.
