Nice to see a proper bike!

Post by fossie » Tue Apr 24, 2018 8:18 pm

I've just watched a YouTube video of the MAG demo ride in London at the weekend, ref the ULEZ ( ultra low emissions zone) £12.50 a day per vehicle incl motorcycles and mopeds. Narrower roads with wider cycle lanes so filtering is impossible in parts of at least more dangerous
Obviously motorcycles are the answer to congestion but Mr Kahn has gone back on his word.
Also bringing to the public the rise in motorcycle theft, attacks on motorcyclist down there, and the fact the Police can't chase these scum for fear of them hurting themselves resulting in the Police being prosecuted.

At the beginning of the Vid, there is a Katana possibly an S1 with a German market seat. Well done anyone we know?

By the way if Kahn gets his way , you know the score Manchester will follow , then Birmingham , Bristol.

just yet another money making exercise, like the speed vans..........

better education and road discipline would achieve far more and converting people onto "pubic" transport is never going to happen unless its made far more affordable / convenient

the laughable thing is most of the modern "emissions friendly" options pollute more in the real world

As Stockcar says this is just another tax on the easily picked on motorist, an aircraft taking off at Heathrow airport creates more pollution than a thousand cars starting up, yet jet fuel has no tax and they want to build a third runway to worsen the problem.
