What's the opinions on a good match for silver engine paint for my Kat?

If you intend to spray the Amarite smooth on your engine, be sure to use the Amarite thinners. Ordinary thinners may react. Just saying.

Thanks for the info, does the smoothrite stand up to the temperature? Ive got some high temp paint but it's too grey.

Did Nigel once have an issue with a fuel spillage on smoothrite or did I imagine it?

Fbj had many issues with hycote , or pj1 going yellow, someone used smoothrite with fine results , I have used it ....fine... So maybe a test casing to ensure it is ok for your needs. :ugeek:

I’ve used smoothrite silver and it weathers quite well, also it’s easy to touch up if needed. As mentioned elsewhere petrol does enjoy buggering up the finish
