i lock mine up to extremes ..we had that conversation i think pedda..and i refuse to allow some people to view some things as i have online friends as well as people i have met, and children who i dont want seeing some things that go on there.
I make it work for me and im not frightened to use the block button either.
I have been on other social sites and deleted those accounts as they got too annoying and uninteresting but fb..as many of you know is somewhere i enjoy being

I think its use totally depends on the individual, some people are happy to tell a stranger their business but others are quite happy to keep themselves to themselves. As has been said if you have friends or family a fair distance away its a way to keep up to date with things, just lock down the security options and then you can decide who sees what.

i quite like it. i can stay in touch with folk and family many miles away. and as i never buy anything i see advertised there, i dont think im making bono or anyone else a single bean.
