I've ridden with contact lenses in for many years and never found them to be a problem, they work great

ah, i only ever wear an open face lid though, can do with being shut in. so the wind in my eyes is a bit more of a problem.

I'm going to give contact lenses a go next week (should be interesting as I'm a bit squeamish about poking eyes).
