I've just received my annual insurance renewal from Carole Nash, last years was £120 for the pop up & the 400. This years quote is £151!!!
Just got an online quote with them for the same policy...£116!!!

With the claim against me it's still only £143!!!

Incidently I rang my van insurance co regarding the claim, luckily I did as it seems that a 3rd party is claiming for an injury & the damage is currently at £1452.97...
All this from a rolling nudge at less then 2mph!!! Shame they didn't want my side of the story or the pictures that I offered at time of incident, maybe they will now.
Their claims dept is going to get someone regarding the fraudulant claim to contact me.

B*STARDS!!

Thats disgusting Jez. On a 2mph bump !!! I would take this as far as you can mate. Its stupid and it shouldnt be allowed to happen. not being funny, but get your mp involved. you will be surprised what a letter from them gets sorted. worth a try and dont cost anything.

makes you wonder we bother to pay insurance nowadays dont it. might as well be like the rest of the million odd people who dont have any.

All insurance is going up because of insurance companies losing too much money on personnel injury claims. my car premium went up 35% !!! everybody is getting hit on renewal.

good luck

Pete

theres more however to insurance than the cost of the premium. ive been with CN for years, and i have to say that regardless of what some folk say, theyve always been amongst the cheapest ive contacted, the breakdown recovery has got me home without any bother on more than one occasion. and on the single situation where ive had to actually make a claim, they were very helpful, didnt quibble or argue and i had a cheque in my hand within a week of putting in the claim. now some others might be a few quid cheaper, but with insurance, what you really need is good service when the sh1t hits the fan, not an extra 20 quid or so when you renew. im no connection to them btw, and ive no axe to grind against any other insurance company, but CN have always been right with me, so im just adding this as a contribution.

Decided to ignore CN's agent that phoned me trying to better the price & failing to even match the price I was quoted online.....

....they just called me & the lady I spoke to managed to get me an even cheaper quote so now I've just paid £137.57 for both bikes with the option to add the 650's & hybrid if I ever get around to doing them..sorted ;)

Tried Peter James but they don't touch modified bikes (the pop up has a 4-1 exhaust) & they don't list the 400S tho' they DO list the GSX250S grey??? so no quote there.
