Anyone got any ideas on reducing the effect of brake fluid on paintwork?
Steves just had the car done over all down one side

Oh no Cat. That's terrible. Why did that happen ? trouble with neighbours ? Loads of soapy water should work.

Yeah basically just wash it off ASAP Cat then keep your fingers crossed that the paint doesn't just fall off. Damage level probably depends on how long the fluids had to work on the paint.

One of my neighbours had his car done a while back. His missus done it late at night so the paint was stripped off all the roof and bonnet

That's really bad. I always ask myself why something like that must be done. At least better than the habit which appears all over Germany for some time now. They burn cars just for fun.
I escaped with only some severe scratches on the doors some years ago myself.

Well it looks like he washed it off quickly enough to prevent any real damage. Streaky marks but they appear to come off with t cut.

I usually find that if you break their arms and knee caps with a pool cue or any other similar sporting implement................they dont tend to re-affend for a while, and have a while to think about their actions!
