hey all, bit of an update

I've been very quiet for a while. Pop up is locked up in the garage, after its last ride a few months ago I decided to sorn it and get it sorted out.
Last ride revealed the following problems

oil is coming out on the left, and covering my boot (small amount but need sorting)
forks are bottoming out under breaking with a loud bang
vibration problems at speed, if I take my hand off the bars it feels like it wants to slap

at the moment my bandit 1200 is being rebuilt, after its frame rotted, TRX850 is my main riding bike at the moment, and just got a 600 bandit, slight accident damaged, so I can ride that while the weather is bad. So my plan is

keep the trx
sell the 600 bandit once the 1200 is finished
use the 1200 for a bit, then sell it to get a 750 s1/s2
then once all that is done, strip, powercoat and rebuild the popup with modern running gear

so got lots to do, wish me luck

So you got quite a schedule then. Keep us updated. Maybe you should volunteer to give a bike of yours for tinkering about on the club stand at the next major bike show...
