Re: Facebook
facebook is a weird place, on one had its awful cos some people on there just type in what they are doing every single minute of their life, but on the other, its great for me cos all my family are miles from me and I dont see them and I have caught up with a lot of old friends

Re: Facebook
Yeh I think facebook as it's moments, It does get pretty annoying with all the crap that some people post however I have caught up with so many people whom I haven't seen for years, and made a few new friends because of it.

Re: Facebook
Pain in AR53 for me!
I'm local network admin on this little steel island, some people just cannot leave it alone (including some in supervisory roles) I don't think it will be too long before the network people clamp down on it. Which will hit those who use it for keeping in touch with close friends and family.
There's one in particular who has been warned on more than one occaision about it.
Personally, I'm not on it.
As for Bono..........

Re: Facebook
I'll take this oppotunity to tell everyone who sent me a friends request that I'm sorry if your request would seem to be ignored but , I haven't accepted any as I only use the page to contact the girls when I'm away and to keeep upto date with the old sweats from my various sqns over the years.
I'm not inclined to visit the F/B often enough and if I need to contact anyone I use the phone or this site.
Hey and thought dinosaurs were extinct eh?

Re: Facebook
Had been on facebook some time ago. Found it anoying getting requests for some online gaming from the same people I hardly knew from other places, calling me a friend. Also noticed I spent way too much time in front of the screen. I quit my fb account to regain some time for real life finally. Found out that deleting my account was not that easy, because I still got email notices from time to time.
