What's wrong with this picture?

I went for a ride out today found a surge at high speed and what can only be desribed as a graunching noise at low speed, I first thought rear brake had a stone trapped in the pad but on inspection seemed ok! Got it back to my garage slow speed had another look and this is what I found.

I think the carrier is shot too as it shows signs of spinning in there :cry:

not lost the spacer between the bearing in the carrier and the wheel bearing have you?

No, I had a second look at the fische as you had me worried then. It is all intact just the bearing has given up and looks like I might have to replace the sprocket carrier to as I mentioned the bearing has rotated in the hub.

On the plus side, I founf out what the clunk noise was when I set the clutch out---------the sprocket not tight on the carrier in the first place. I am not happy with the last barsteward and their fixing techniques, no way man.

ha ha, when it started surging at 80 I thought it might be the carbs so I opened it up a bit to clear it out lol

Yeh the sprocket carrier is shot sad times :-(
