The Dark side

Post by fossie » Wed Jan 04, 2012 9:19 pm

:o It has happened some one has employed me , full time , cards in,paid holidays, :o

So what is this JOB , .................errr despatch rider of course , yep doing the job I was doing last year , so whats the catch

I get a company bike , fuel card and everthing The catch is it's a Dulville.. :o
Just spent 10 hours on it , and although I got used to it , I was amazed at how vibratory it is , and a seat made of a plank, the wind noise nearly drowns out the music on my phone!
When I text a mate at new year , he just replied Harsh!

But hey steady hours , overtime if I want 8-)

So garage clear out has started with the project 650 going soon and others to follow probably.

Sounds like good news. And you're not going to apply for a Deauville club membership, eh?

Be honest, just how many of those 10 hours were spent learning how to open the side panniers?

Got to be better abusing somebody else's bike :)

Very tough as old boot those Dulvilles, and in the right hands prettyy rapid as well.

A while back was on a Hodna group ride organised by C J Ball in Norwich. Chris and one of the Workshop boys rode Dulvilles and they kept up a very good pace. Even after another one had been stuffed into hedge
