Anyone have a working copy of XP home, that they could send me a disc for?

My pc has some serious probs & taking it back to factory settings doesn't help as what ever's on it seems to stay on it. The only alternative I can think of is to reformat the hard drive but you don't get the operating system discs with the pc anymore!

Jez, i think i have one. will check. Have you tried going back to a restore point. That normally works for me.

I've got nearly everything here except XP home.
Windoze 98, 98SE, ME, XP Pro, Vista, 7 Premium, OSX 10.4, 10.5 (if you want to make a hackintosh)

I've got the licence number that came with the copy insatlled on the PC hopefully that should work?

Don't count on it.

Our kids laptops had Vista basic on them and when we tried to re-install Vista (after running Ubuntu for a bit), it wouldn't have it.
Whatever you do, DO NOT install Vista, it's crap.

just noticed that it says xp home..... i missed the home bit :( - any reason u want home and not pro? i can do you a cd of pro and a key if it helps?
