put the engine on a pallet , price about £50 within mainland,
further up north is a bit more

I had a EFE lump on the scales lately. Iirc it was 86 kg. Don't see any reason why a standard GSX should be remarkably lighter...

As John said just strap it to a pallet and it is very cheap through the pallet force system. ( Enquire at cheap overnight courier companies, )
I had a 650 engine sent from Cornwall to Manchester for £40 next day.

your best bet is ask a local braeker who he uses, DHL, UPS, City LINK are all big names so try an avoid them as they give big discounts to multiple time users and get the revenue from infrequent users . APC are a network of franciases so do deals.
