Great to see the popup feature
But here's my list of corrections, shame they couldn't get things right before printing it !!
1. they say the standard chain was 630 pitch, but sure it was 530.
2. they say the AUS/NZ/SA market models were grey imports but 25 came here as official imports, then maybe very few as greys in the nineties as grey imports didn't generally come from these countries.
3. they say the easiest swingarm swap is from the gsxr750 L/M models, not so, thy're too wide at the pivot and foul the footrest hangers, also the frame needs welding to fit the shock top and linkages, so not easy at all, infact there's no easy swap, but gsx750f wheels will fit in the standard arm and allow a 150 rear tyre without too much modding.
4. the es/ef made 84hp the AUS/NZ/SA models were reputed to be nearer 90hp.
5, the forks were quite good for the time and the pdf units did work so weren't pointless.
6. they say the footpegs were too far forward and low but were actually rearset comparedto the es/ef offering more ground clearance.
7. the engine hadn't been around for four years previously it had been around for 2 years.
8. as far as i'm aware the geometry was steepened up for the popup for more sporty handling.
9. I'll still stick by what i was told back in 87 by a top suzuki bloke i met when i bought mine and he said 75 came in the country officially. Although many more came in as grey imports but that wasn't until the 90's that the grey thing kicked off..
Long anorak moment over
