Just to add to the confusion, my old Resincorse is an S1 (19"), but is registered (in this country) in 1984 as well.

S2 . 16" in an S1 frame. 3 spoke wheels denote built for the 1983 -4 market.
S3 would be a POP up but they share the wheels.
