I thought I would drop in and say hello, it must have been the back end of 2011 when I last posted and I had sold my pop up.

I still have my trx850 and xt350, plus last year I bought a 1961 Triumph 500, I always wanted an old brit bike.

I have hardly been on a bike since I posted last, after winter 2011, spring came in 2012, I was messing around on a bmx and broke my wrist. It was a few weeks before our holiday to the TT, I couldnt ride the trx so bought an old fazer 600 cos it had flat bars, and I rode to the TT with a cast on my wrist/hand. It hurt like mad, I never rode for the next couple of month after that.

I have been thinking lately about getting another katana, maybe later this year. I hope everyone is doing good and you all had a nice 2012.

The bmx I crashed was a DK general lee from the mid 1990s. I am mainly into 80s bmx, I have a few raleigh burners and a haro freestyler.

Hi n welcome back.
I'm fairly new round here.
Your tale reminded me of a similar incident I had 6 or 7 years ago.
Daughter decided she wanted to get in to skateboarding so I built her a 10 foot half pipe and thought I'd show her how good I was 'back in the day'
Dug one of my old late 70's early 80's boards out and got stuck in............ for about 5 seconds :o
Gave the nurses in A&E a laugh though

With the weather being so poor the last 2 years, building up old bmxs has kept me from going insane

And just as NOS motorcycle stock is going sky high so too is old school BMX gear.
