Ouch :(

Post by callyboy » Tue Mar 22, 2011 12:04 pm

Just got stung with a £250 bill for replacing the petrol filler pipe on my Previa :( It was rusty as hell, which explains the smell of my precious petrol evaporating from the hole !!!

Happened on my other one as well - "They all do it" !!!!

Poxy pipe was £120 on its own    :( :( :( rip off

Need to lie down and recover from the shock to my wallet.

looking at Pete's post again............he may be refering to the actual pipe from the petrol cap to the fuel tank.

In that case I would have got it repaired !

I bet you do!

Make sure you have at least 3 backup power supplies for the main c00lant pumps ( MCP's )

I would use DC battery, Diesel generator and 415V 3 phase.

We dont want another Fukashima on our hands!

Dont forget to issue the neighbours with iodine tablets for when you have a melt down and iradiate the whole of Surrey!

BE SAFE :!: :!:
