classic insurance

Post by jmac » Thu Mar 28, 2013 5:37 pm

Hi all, just been informed by my insurers (footman james) that they are no longer quoting for classic bike insurance. This leaves me with less than two weeks to find another company.
All recomendations will be much appreciated. Cheers, j,mac.

Peter James is one off the old partners and set up on his own again, they are quoting as before.

The peter james option is better if you have a multiude of classic machines , as they just add more and more for no extra at renewal time, and a £20 admin mid term , also can add another rider.

Fossie, I'm on Peter James website, getting a quote & Katana Owners Club isint on the list of Clubs!

Can you get us added please?

Also just spoke to Footman & my renewal details are being sent out today, they implied they are going to renew my classic policy if I want them to.

Message from Peter James even if our club is not listed on the website. WE ARE in their data base AND DO get the club discount.

Hmmm, well we weren't on Tuesday when I insured the pop-up with them (£82 fully comp) so I used my VJMC number.

Got very good service from them tho' so recommended.
