Aldi knocking out small welders for £40 - dunno if they are any good.

Ah, they do have some of everything they advertise , but you must be at the door on the Thursday of release as the geeks are hovering at that time.
They are just loss leaders to get people into store.
If your local ain't got one then another probably will.
When bike stuff is out in march at these two stores, if I go to my local one , in an area of many bikers , not much luck , but if I go to Broughton /prestwich which is mainly a Jewish area thenloads of choice as not many in that area ride bikes.

it all depends what you want? LIttle arc welders are cheap yes but mostly rubbish. And if you dont know what your doing you just create a lot of bird poo. better saving your pennies and buying a MIG set
