Hi, any advice on a good performance parts shop for all the tuning bits for the Kat or GSX motors? I haven't built any air cooled stuff for over 20 years and I used to use V&M or Pip Higham, but these guys don't have the shops any more. I need some oil cooler lines making up and am also looking at some tuning parts like big bore kits etc and someone who can advice on what works and what does not - any ideas?

Hi Chris, Roger upperton in leeds comes highly recommended, did a big bore for my kat. also Ray Debben in Ringwood hants is atop bloke whos knows air cooled suzuki and kwak motors inside out, did some head work for me. You wont go wrong with either of them.

Ill give another vote for Roger Upperton, he did some good work on FBJs Kat1100 cyl head and claims a 10 to 15 % power increase by just re-working the cylinder head and valve seats. Obviously there are a few well know mods that add extra horses, like fitting later EF cams and carbs along with a lighter free flowing exhaust...........and then upping the cubic capacity.
It all comes down to cost in the long run..............

Roger is semi retired now he'll do the work but it takes a bit longer than it used to, he does regularly go to the US so is good for supplying parts too. Give him a ring, top chap.

Thanks guys. I had forgotten about Roger Upperton. I had some of my GSXR s from years ago gas flowed by Roger and they gave a good increase. I will give him a call.
