Racing season is almost here, still got to finish putting the engine back together, then build the bike up, after that got to do 50 miles or so running in, only 3 weeks to first meet..
I've been searching about over the past few month for people or companies to help back my racing, after a few promises there now seems to be nothing coming through, this leaves me in an awkward position, I have spent a lot of time, money and effort into preparing the bike. I'm entered into the first meeting which I can do, but only on old worn tyres, I've entered the rest of the meetings with post dated cheques. So I do have my entries secured.
This is a call out to all of you for help in finding a sponsor/backer or sponsors so we can give this championship a proper crack this year. I have info on the racing and my racing history which can be emailed to any prospective sponsors.
I need to find £4000 to complete the season, yes I know that sounds a lot, which it is, but in racing terms that very cheap. I'm not looking for one person/company to cover this, although that would be ideal, I was hoping I could find a few sponsors to help cover the costs.
So if any of you in Katana world would like to help out Please get in touch (companies/company owners), I'm happy to advertise on the bike, on your website, on my van, on my website, whatever I can do in return really, regular coverage in Practical Sportbike magazine too..
Also if any of you know of someone who may be in a position and willing to help again Please let me know (ie your boss)
