yep. well done to pete. above all the others who worked on the bike this weekend, pete brought it all together and knew where every part was located in the multitude of boxes and packages. and even when he appeared to be just sat round polishing his nuts, he was busy,,,,,

It was hard work, but we got there didn't we
I was just sitting in the garden today relaxing and it just suddenly hit me................we built from scratch..... a bloody half decent motorbike in ONE DAY for Fook's sake !!!!!!!!! ONE DAY!!!!!! And i don't think i forgot a single piece
Didn't really get that involved in the build because i wanted others to shine on the day;)

well done m8... it was quite an achievement. from a few boxes of rusted / dented / broken bits to something we can all be proud of. it was quite a feeling when she started i can tell ya!... just goes to show what we can do when pulling in the same direction doesn't it!...

The front brake is getting there ,

just a few more snags to sort but will be sorted by August.
It has been sitting enjoying the sunshine today glinting away .........

This must be a bit of a rare occurrence; more motorcycles left a rally than arrived

did you come across those lil rubber bungs for the forward two mounts of the tail fairing at all?
we still need a small list of the other missing bits.... was bobster looking for some cap screw push on plastic covers.... and fork leg cap rubbers spring to mind..... a couple of rear footpef mounting bolts (the ones used were shimmed with a nut to reduced the collared area i recall)... front footpeg rubbers were ripped i think, bar end weights needed, clutch lever replacing with a black one or straightening and painting black, fuel tap needs sealing properly cos it's gonna leak, chain needed,.... can't think of more but likely is
maybe this needs to go in the "bits needed" thread
