Uncle bob has fitted an eagle on his SD....I think there's an article in the pride somewhere in the last two years. Andyswad had a marving race on his bike but he'll never sneak up on anybody :D :D :D
Sparki has a Vance and Hines which is painted black and looks pretty cool.
Exhaustcraft in Cumbria do some good stuff in stainless or titanium.
There's also the marving master as well.
Some seriously nice pipes in Japan but at serious prices :|

i had an eagle, it was light as a feather made the bike go like stink and sounded like the end of the fucking world, awesome thing, but the stainless version isnt cheap and the plain steel one rots faster than an austin allegro in the sea. dan harris had a nice system on his 750 that sounded good, but i cant remember what it was! i recall that it wasnt too expensive.

I like the Eagle - full stainless.

Unfortunately the price has jumped up massively. The base price in March 2015 was €600, but I see it is now €900!!! :o I got the 400mm end can and different logo that added to the price direct from Germany and it was €668.37. Exchange rate then was about €1.30 to the pound so about £515.

With Brexit and the crap rate now you are looking at £808 for the same thing!

Quite why they have put the price up by 50% in 2 years I don't know.

I wasn't so keen on the chrome V&H but in black on Sparki's bike it looks good. I'd go for a black one of those if they made one.

I've talked with "exhaust craft" on a number of occasions and they seem very good people, downside is you need to take the bike and leave it with them (most of the time)
Maybe check out Dan moto, they are fairly cheap stainless/carbon systems (as on "Princess") more modern stuff generally but you may find something that will fit,and although from abroad good delivery times (unless parcel farce f*** it up)

im not sure that its terribly expensive tbh. ok its a fair wedge of cash, but its not a mass produced piece of piping, its an individually built one off hand made to your spec. and in that case, 540 quid sounds like a pretty reasonable price.

I bought Dan's stainless exhaust. Sounds great, but had to buy collets to make it fit in the head correctly. Why not ask Dan to make a stainless 4 into 1 set of pipes. Then buy a slip on silencer.?

well thats not a bad idea either, put some money towards supporting a club member who is making unique stuff for bikes.
