Non Kat, more Dog

As my Kat is my only road legal bike at the moment due to the Speed Trip needing rear suspension bearings sorted. I was looking about in a fairly casual manner for a sort of "Un-Sunny" day bike. Probably a trail/enduro/dual sport sort of thing.
Did see a '99 Husqvarna (Husky; dog) TE610 for sale locally.
Looking at forums, they seem to be fairly high maintenance beasties.
Didn't someone on this forum have one for a while? Anybody with experience of the things?
