A teaser review

A teaser because I was sent a copy of a book to review before the editor/ publisher released it.
The images are purposely a bit shaky, so as just show the extent of content without disclosing too much and nothing to do with DT's
.
This my own opinion.
The book is made up of information taken from various sites around the globe a kind off one stop shop as to the Katana, from start to Now. BUT, for me, it was the personal touch, the introduction of the author which covers his own kats and other bikes , it makes it like you are sharing a passion with a chap at a Kat rally rather than a show.....
There are some nice touches like a correspondence with Hans Jorge Kasten and his memories of the very beginning of ED1& ED2. Not found elsewhere. The history of Suzuki motorcycles, the kanji symbol ..Through to an interview with the designer of the New 2020 Katana.
There are some errors , but that is mainly because the sites some of the information was gleened from have been established for a length of time and the mistakes are now considered true.
only an ANArAK would care too much.
Lots of pictures, of specials, some weirder than others, some nicer than others , but all tastes should be covered.
It is well presented and laidout . The sort of book you can read a bit then come back to it later..
What they call a coffee table book.
The cost will be £21.99 ....but Club members get a discount £18.99 ex post
