Been out on Beelzebitch today for a good thrap. All was going well until I pulled over in a country lay-by for a pee
Started the bike up and I could hear a slight knock coming from the top of the motor? so panic sets in thinking summat really bad had happened. I pulled away steady and at first the noise seemed to stop as the revs rose but then she started running rough and almost stalled at a junction. A thought occurred to me (a very rare thing

) so I turned the fuel tap to reserve and bingo 100 yds later the problem disappeared
I recon I’ve averaged 32mpg on the last tank of fuel

I was going to, as I usually do, but only when I got to a petrol pump to fill the tank up!.

Well I do normally, but I’m old and I forgot

I’m also having second thoughts about selling her now. She’s running a treat an I love riding it.

Everything you sell you can’t easily buy back mate, if you’re not hungry you should keep her close

Yeah your right, I’ve let too many bikes go and regretted it almost straight away. The reason for this madness in the first place was to buy the one bike I regret selling the most the Z1300
However I put the standard exhausts back on her yesterday and gave her a thorough clean & polish so unless I get an offer I can’t refuse beelzebitch is staying with me

Selling is not in my nature so I can't imagine letting one go. Sure a Z1300 is cool because it's a six, but other than that it looks... yeah. You even named her.. you're not a savage are you?!

Oh Z1300 must be the KZ1300 we had. I'm defiantly not a Honda person, but I liked the CBX better, the Z1300 was liquid cooled if I remember and I think it was DFI. But they still do look cool.
In other news I got a magazine that has a comparison between the 83 Kat and the all new EFI GPz1100. I can scan it and upload it if anyone likes. Maybe theirs a spot on this site for media.

You can scan and send to me! I do have a load of scans from magazines stored ready to put on the web, though it's been a while since I did one! I had started putting on my KatanaCentral website
http://www.katanacentral.co.uk/reallife ... choose.asp but it has been about 15 years since I uploaded the last one!!! I should really get round to it...
