AGM Scheduled Zoom meeting 12:30 14th November

https://us04web.zoom.us/j/2684662673?pw ... xQNjRsQT09

Meeting ID: 268 466 2673
Passcode: Mance20
---
In November we as a club have an AGM . This is open to everyone but only club members have a casting vote.
Normally we nominate a pub on a Sunday in November , this is a different locations every year around the UK. BUT ....this year it can't be so . The AGM thread has been ongoing in the members area for month or so , but now it is time for non members to have a say about what they expect from our forum / club . It could be the idea, service, we didn't think about . Chances are we've covered it but please feel free to comment on this thread.

November 15th from 1230 hrs to 1500hrs will be actually AGM VIRTUAL .
I have left discussion topics empty for now on purpose and will add in a bit... :?

Ok so subjects that were under discussion ...loose term but ,

1/ Can we / should we / do we want to / try and make an electric Katana ....not a world beater or buying parts off a shelf making it from scratch using a GSX 250 Ssn frame or a GS125.

2/ Regalia ...always on a topic ...can / we should we get a t shirt designed or commissioned to include old and new Katanas .....should it it be a comic design or serious .?

3/ Is any one interested in doing a car SOS type project . For this we need volunteers to accept a part refurb it and send it back ...like our group pop up , we did some years since.( see pop up section if you haven't already) There is a victim or 2 in consideration .....

4/ At the moment joining the club rather than just forum member is £10 a year . This supports the forum , sets a float for organising event / meets. Allows access to areas of the forum, gives discounts from suppliers , gives access to the katmovement of parts service and for sale wants section.

5/ Should have a funeral ....we could cremate the burgers this way we could hold a meeting/ event of 30 people ? ;)

6/ We used to have area reps that could help with stuff locally ....with the advent of us no longer having a chairman to oversea is this the way forward .? Is there a volunteer for chairman

7/ The tool lending service is still available to members , should it opened up to non members for a £11 fee :P

8/ When freedom is reigned on us again I wish to do a Manc'ee Kat .....well it will happen even if it's just little Steve and I again  This will be aswell as the NABD should that be on . There will be months between no matter which come first .

Any other business.?

Not that I'll be affected too often as I live in Germany...
What about the Idea of having a sort of help-list of members including town or at least region where they live plus phone no.? In case you ride through the country on the Kat and the damned thing breaks down you could get competent help locally by a fellow club member. Many of us can help with parts and spanners or just know somebody who can help.

Meant to be a classified list and absolutely voluntarily, of course.
