I had to look up "Philately", I can't imagine how to pronunce it.
I had a Russian girlfriend back in 2002 that would say Kakatnana when she tried to say Katana. She ended up on a 1999 GSXR 600 and could do small wheelies, that was cool. Years later I saw her bike at a track day in tech (inspection) it was some dude she sold it to. Bummer.

Strange, I knew a girl from the Czech Republic who owned a yellow gsxr600 (2000 model) she fell off it in the car park at Box Hill in Surrey and two guys rushed towards her but instead of asking if she was ok they left her lying on the ground and picked up the bike to see if there was any damage

Remember the Laverda Jota ?
Named after a Mediterranean dance held in triple time, it was always pronounced throughout the UK as the Joe ta. One of my Afghan hounds was named after it (the other was called Darmah).
Fast forward to current times and a well known Liverpool FC footballer with the same name is now pronounced Diego Hotta by the commentators.
Just rambling...........
