Beelzebitch is no more!

Well I’ve finally done what I’ve been threatening to do for a while now and got rid of my Kat and got a Z1300!
I hope I’m not going to be ostracised from the club as I would like to remain a member.
I’ll obviously park the Z in the naughty corner at meetings

Lol, I’ve got a few spares and a manual which I can sell if anyone is interested? I’ll list the bits I’ve got and post them here. I’ve also got a ported cylinder head which was donated to me fro Pedda. I’ll leave that in your capable hands to pass on to a needy club member. I take it you won’t want my Z on the club stand at the Manchester show

And you got a book made a treasure by by Hans Muth signing it with a few personal words. Reason enough to stay in the club, me thinks.

Yes the book won’t be going anywhere soon. I loved my Kat and only sold it because I really wanted another Z13 and it was the only way to fund the purchase. You never know I might get another Kat one day. This club has some great members and it’s those that make the club probably more than the bikes.

I desperately need some body parts for my 1983 GSX1100S, previously my friend's stolen bike, recovered 16 months after being hidden less than 100 metres away from its storage.
I require a seat, lhs frame cover (the thieves have left the choke knob), both under fairing "shark fins", both lower fairing side trim covers, even the top lid/cover for the air filter housing??? 😭
These are the visible cosmetics, thankfully I've not found any more vandalism to the bike yet & initial inspection shows no crap has been dropped inside the engine🙄.
With luck your spares may be of help, nevertheless, have fun on your behemoth z1300, I loved my riding experience when mechanicing/servicing on a friend's, but frightening at standstill for me as I'm a short legged < 5' 7".
Have great fun, we may have our favourites but finding out the different characteristics of all bikes is one of the positives which makes our biking passion so pleasurable.
Cheers,
Brad.
