Just a question of characteristics of performance. Smaller carbs usually give a bit more low and mid range power, larger more top end.

although iirc the choke size on the kat 1000 carbs is around 30mm, it says iirc 32mm, but when you actually measure it its only about 30. my 1100 motor has the 40mm carbs from the gixxer 750 on it!bobster wrote:Big is better.......that's why I have a 1000sz..............![]()
