As John said we have made our own , we don't wire ours the same as the original, but use a relay for up and one for down. However we only make Japan/ UK ones as the Canadian ones are different and so I suppose the ones from Japan won't be as Canada. We did a wiring diagram to alter a E23 (Canada) to E1 "PROPER" POP UP

Our boxes are not in the black box but you can take the gubbings out of yours and fit ours.

The difference is number of pins in the connector , however the actual wires behind the connectors are in adifferent place.
This is because the Canadian market requires lights on while riding, Thus the light comes up with ignition, we can ride with light down.(more posey).

I'll dig out the old thread when I've more time and see what you make of it.

Basically the E1 model has a normal light switch ,when the switch is operatedit transfers to the motor until it reaches the top then turns the bulb on.
when the switch is turned off the power goes from the bulb to the motor until it reaches the down sensor.

The E28 model turns the motor on with the ignition then the bulb and in reverse.

I,ll see if I have the pracie that our tame electrian did me and get it to you.

give me a few days.

just had a lok at that jap site and I must say our looks far more substantial.
I've a few computor issues here but when resolved I will post a picture of ours .

In the meantime a wiring diagram exsists on the old forum in technical section dated

This was a chap with Canadian version but got the only box available Jap but it didn't work so we investigated and rewired it by moving the pins the short piece of loom.
Thus converting it to a "normal bike"
