Removing scratches from titanium

I`ve a titanium end can for my project with some scratches on it where it scraped on a wall.
Whats the best way to remove them? ideas please.

You may have to finish it off with diamond paste as most very fine cutting compunds are too soft to polish the titanium, i can "aquire" if you need it ;)
