Top end stripped.... Head looks good with nice coloured valves, minimal carbon buildup that a wire brush easily removed. Crankcases cleaned in readiness for a new base gasket on Wednesday. Base gasket that is stuck to the barrels is still an ongoing challenge though.... Never seen a gasket that stuck before... Currently soaking under a diesel rag. Once that's off they just need a clean and wait for the bits to arrive....
