400 Katana swing arm into 1100 frame

Post by katanatom » Wed Jan 14, 2015 6:33 pm

I had a silly idea about putting a 400 Kat swing arm into the 1100 frame, as it looks a little more modern. However, having acquired such an arm, I find that the pivot is offset by half an inch or so.
Anyone made one fit?
And if not... anyone want a 400 swing arm?

mk2 impulse 400 swingarms are much beefier than either the stock 1100 or the 400 kat swingarm. they look very trick. chunky twin shock ally arms, very nice.

it is a pretty thing, chunky too. but you need to make sure if youre scouring ebay, that its the mk2 impulse 400, not the mk 1.

i Know where there is a mk 2 400 impulse front and back end (inc wheels/brakes etc) :-),

both bolt on (need spacers for back end, lockstops for front end) :=)
