pop up header pipes

Post by chris » Mon May 11, 2015 5:34 pm

Does anyone know anywhere who can supply pop-up header pipes. I have a set of replica silencers but no header pipes and the people who were to make the pipes are taking too long - 8 months

Have you tried exhaustcraft in cumbria? The guy Dave seems to be able to make whatever you want. However i'm not that sure many do the black chrome finish. Sorry I can't do links but if you google it you'll get there i'm sure.

This is the project we were trying to undertake end of last year .......
If you have the original down pipes they can be copied and once done we will have a default.

I tried exhaust craft but he was always too busy with rally cars and race machines so didn't want to commit to a project he couldn't give a guarantee time to.

Motad were willing to do it but needed a reasonable order to justify the set up costs.

There are good condition 750 Es ones out there , they are the same, later model 86 -89 were black chrome.

However It would be better if we could get a set made. To get the project back on track.

Thanks for the response. I don't have the originals only the silencers. The mechanic who has the bike at the moment is trying to get a set made but its taking too long.
