Googling the SF says it had two shocks?! Anyway, the mystery of my shock remains! There are no numbers.
So i thought, what the hell, why not try rebuild it?
Turns out, the shock was definitely oil dampened and the knob was what regulated the oil pressure. So i re-filled the shock, bled it and filled the regulator. Bled the whole system and now i have an Awesome Shock!!!
It responds really well to the regulator and feels great! :)
Worth freezing my ass off in -5 degrees to get the job done ;)

Excellent news there chap. I went out in 3 degrees to check my other pop up and found that the shock is as yours. The braided hose on yours is a replacement .

So never across anyone refilling one before so well done , maybe a tutorial for the newsletter is a good article.
The cable referred to is mainly fitted to the Es version which had rebound aswell, these were found on some pop ups.
Again pat on the back sir.

Thanks! I guess time will tell if the rebuild works or not?!
I'll test it a bit more then put together a little "how to" for everyone else :)
