Hi folks.
I'm trying to find the correct torque settings for the connection of cylinder head block to crank case. Have surfed and surfed without joy!
It's for the GS550MZ Kat
Does anyone out there know them, or know where I can find them? And the correct order for tightening?
Cheers!

Re: Torque settings for head/crank on 550m-z katana
Hi.
As far as I know the GS550mz and mx were basically GS550e's, so any info for the engine will be the same. Unfortunately I am at work and the company firewall is being particularly resilient today and blocked a download of a Clymer manual. Also this means I can't access the Haynes manual I have at home either.
You could try the GSresources website:
http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum/sh ... ead-torque
They suggest 16-20 ft-lbs or 21.7-27.1 Newton Meters
Hope this helps
