Ok so Poppy has past her annual health check with almost 100%
The only fly in the ointment is the r/h clip on is a bit bent
I thought it was a bit odd when I collected it from the bosses but put it down to needing adjusting. The problem is the pop up bars ain’t adjustable. So I can either heat it up & try to straighten it which I’m a bit wary of doing or replace it. I’ll put in a wanted ad for a used one.
There rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!

Leave it ..... ;) ..it has been like that for at least 7years since the last owner dropped it against a wall!
I have spare ones here .....but it's so minimal no one has ever commented before, it doesn't touch the tank so can't fail an MOT. :ugeek:

Erm, it might not touch the tank by a couple of mm but it traps my pinkies on full lock and nearly had me off outside your gaff when I picked it up :? Besides it feels decidedly odd when I’m riding it! I’ll call round to yours one night and pick one up if you have a spare, let’s give Poppy a bit more love ;)

You could be right? there is rather a lot of it on the frame which was done with no expense spared by Stevie Wonder who used a yard brush
Anyway I’ve straightened the bar now so apart from the pop up headlight not popping down it’s running well 8-)
