do they coat it inside and out? i remember reading about ceramic coating being the 'next big thing' a few years back, the idea was that theey coated the inside of the pipe, it improved airflow and helped performance, coating outside helps with rustproofing, but if a system is mild steel, how do you protect inside from corrosion if you dont get it covered?

Hi John, only had outside of pipe coated, did ask about coating the inside but the pipe would have to be brand new as its almost impossible to get the inside of the pipe clean enough to coat, coating the inside was supposed to gain up to 4bhp as well so a 44bhp 250 Kat would have been something to talk about down the pub :) but after more than two years the downpipes on my bike are still shiny and smooth, still only got 40bhp though :(

Sent some forks off to Philpots a few weeks ago in order to say that I am progressing the GS10X project.

Decided as I am having to work outside of the remains of the shed (don’t ask) on the Speed Trip, I would get the full service done again, as I did with Skruffy Kat and Fred61’s RED Fester.

They arrived back yesterday.....

Just realised that I had not uploaded photos of Fred’s RED Fester forks. Probably due to the fact that I only took 3 photos and 2 of them were not so good and one was even worse!

Forks were top quality though
