Hi,
My Motad exhaust is looking a little the worse for wear (rust and a small hole) and I was looking for a replacement.
Motad have ceased trading some years ago and all I can find is one by BSM Exhausts who I've never heard of.
Looking on Google I found one report of a BSM exhaust on a Honda bike that had a flat spot between 4-5K revs and the user wasn't too happy.
Does anyone have any info on a BSM exhaust used on a Katana 650?

Even with the small hole in the exhaust, the bike is running rough and you can notice it. So I would imagine not all exhausts are the same and a poorly designed one could have flat spots.
Just out of interest, how much was the Honda exhaust for your son? Did they make it up from new? Just so I get a feeling for the price of these things.
