Sorry to put a dampner on the puns , but as coldsnail ain't posted the pride 31 yet thre is a bit in there where I mention Pedda is getting us a batch of replica needles from Germany.

However as Brits designed in the pub built in the shed is the way forward i suppose.

I guess if this was to be the adopted route then they'd have to be called KOC-tail swords

Pedda - what are these needles off? The only reason I ask is that gauge needles are calibrated to the actual gauges. The boss on the Kat needles has little weights in the back. Obviously replacing the broken needles with our home made varients has already f*cked things up but they may well be closer to the originals than new ones with bosses and needles that are for completely different gauges.

Hi Pedda, Yes, I've seen that, it's where I saw KeKat's idea of using the cocktail swords, although I mounted mine differently. It'll be interesting to see if there are any consequences of using home made and non original needles. Do you have them in hand? Can you post some pictures insread of just drawings?

Here's a pic of a speedo which was repaired by the company I ordered the needles from. The needles are new; they have to be painted orange by the customer, as they come white.
