All depends on if you want to keep it bog standard original really!

If not:

An RF600 front master cylinder is angled and there are loads on ebay..........

if you do:

I fitted a new piston and seal kit to my Kat1000 master cylinder..........had no problems with it at all!

Got it from Crooks Suzuki

Hi folks, can anyone confirm that the EZ seal kit will fit an SZ? Cheers

Right, I've replaced the brake lever due to play; feels lots better. I've also replaced my badly leaking fork seals and in doing so noticed that the left disc was contaminated with fork oil, so replaced front pads and solvent cleaned the discs. With new fluid and lots of bleeding the front brake lever now feels pretty good but the front brakes just don't inspire the same confidence I have in my GPz900 brakes; dab them and the bike stops on a sixpence. The Katana needs a full hand not two fingers. So, am I expecting too much from my Katana brakes? I never rode a Katana when it was new so don't know what to expect. Don't get me wrong, the bike does stop ok, just not quite as well as my comparison, the GPz. Any feedback from other owners would be apprieciated!
