I wiil try to explane. It depends on catalouge's year of issue and database. The same detail can be used on different bikes. That's why there are 5 extra digits

The first part of the part number 01547 means in this case bolt of lentgh size etc
the second is the bike it was first fitted to 06455 could be a code for anX7 , or a TS 250. anything before the Kat , or even the kat, maybe
It is done for sourcing parts from suppliers lists , and these numbers wont tell you anything about thread , length etc . A mechanic/ parts man won't need to know that to order it he just knows the part number.
What the difference in numbers does tell you, is they are different thats all.

Just spoke to Martin at Crooks Suzuki............asnd he tells me that as Mick has already pointed out the last 5 digits give info on the size,length and the coating of the part.
so 06458 would be 06=6mm 45=45mm length and the last digit 8 is the coating!
3=ZINC OLIVE DRAB
5=BLACK
6=ZINC ,GOLD PASSERVATE
7=CHROME
B=BLACK
8=ZINC BZP
but as usual...............there are exceptions to the rule....................

Yours is an Import then..........and uses the same forks a as the GS550M Katana.
