easy peesy ? need any special tools? EBC ones ok ? change the springs at same time ? Whats the meaning of life ?

meaning of life thats 42 isnt it lol



if its anything like gs 550 should be pretty straight forward
have some heavy duty clutch springs somewhere dont know if the same
couldnt use them myself as a bit to strong for me to operate clutch

Hi Pete,

Should be fairly straight forward to replace. Just remember the order they come out. Brand new might benefit from being soaked in engine oil for a day beforehand.
And don't forget to set up the clutch release at the right angle for the actuator arm.

EBC should be fairly good. Try half and half with the HD springs first.

Well, you never know......

check the basket for wear ridges, and make sure the metal plates dont have sharp edges worn on em. soak the new plates in engine oil overnight before fitting.

well if cant crush walnuts ...........

you could always start off and see if you can crush a grape

If there are ridges and sharp edges, what do you do ? emery cloth em or new ?
