hagon or what ?

Post by nokatanayet » Sat Nov 19, 2011 8:03 pm

well, i've been out on the tidy pop up today and i think the rear shock has finally given up.
shall i go for a hagon or are there other options ?
i've seen the hagons for about £288 plus the postage ,does anyone know if their cheaper elsewhere as no doubt i will be selling this bike next summer.
cheers for any input. Si ;)

Direct from Hagon is the cheapest usually. Someone was looking into options from other bikes (on OSS I think but nothing definitive yet). Got a Hagon on my pop-up and it's fine (even with my vast bulk on it).

Me being a right cheapskate, i would have a look at a shock from another bike and pick one up on ebay for a lot less.

thanks Chris, hagon want £299.50 i'm not sure if that include vat and then its the postage as well.
cheers for your input pete, i might be worth hunting around some other sites (oh lord forgive me) just to see if any other bike may fit, the only trouble is it will have to be a fairly new bike as most of the older shock would be pants.

worn shocks

once you know which way it twitches you adapt the riding style accordingly

just make sure there is no oil left in it at mot time, that way it can't leak
