Watcha, bike has taken a back seat (well it is behind the sofa) for a while, but finally got a couple of hours spare. Filled up with oil and new filter and new air filter foam. Got some coolant and saw that i needed a 50/50 mix with distilled water. Popped down to local car spares shop and bought some water, but the geezer gave me de-ionised. Is that ok to use ? or does it have to be distilled ?
thanks awfully.
Pete

that's fine Pete.
And so long as it's at least 50% anti-freeze the actual mix percentage doesn't matter.

Tap water mixed 50-50 should be OK in that old dinosaur Pete...............As long as you change it regular!
Stop reading that japanese manual and get the bike finished........
