Finally getting round to trying to balance the fookers.
Couldnt they put the balance screw takeoff bolts in a harder place ??? need the hands of a small child or a monkey to get to the bastards !!!!
Looking at the carbs from the back then, the base one is the second one from the left ? Sorry but the throttle cable attachment goes in between the second carb and the third and i cant tell which one its attached to. Also the tickover knob goes to the base right ? and that is in between the same two carbs.
Cheers bobster

No3 is the base carb, according to the manual you adjust for number 2, then 1 and finally 4.

right, you adjust them by matching the left 2 to the right 2. the base carb cant be adjusted, so if its number 3 then you adjust number 4 to match number 3, (using the adjuster between 3 and 4) then you adjust number 1 to match number 2, (using the adjuster between 1 and 2) finally you adjust the pair 1+2 to match the pair 3+4 using the centre adjuster.

It is easy enough to do, but it is sensitive so if you turn it a bit too much it can go crazy.
If it is the case, no stress just remove the carbs set them with your eye. the idea is that say they must open as much as each other.
The good thing is if there is a mistake made it can be redone.
Another idea could be to mark them before turning so you can go back to the original setting easily.

You need a carb adjusting tool off ebay m8! It has a box spanner with a long screwdriver incorporated.
A must for adjusting carbs!
