Removing scratches from titanium

I`ve a titanium end can for my project with some scratches on it where it scraped on a wall.
Whats the best way to remove them? ideas please.

Thanks Blix nothing to make it easy then just a bit of elbow grease.

You may have to finish it off with diamond paste as most very fine cutting compunds are too soft to polish the titanium, i can "aquire" if you need it
