Theres a problem with my pop up where when the lights are off it will go up and down non stop. The light wont be on though. When i turn it on it will function as normal.

A very common problem this.
first thing to check is condition of battery and volts back to it.

That all being in order the sensor side of the black box is weak. Somedays it is ok others it wants to wave .

The cure; 1. Ride with lights on , and catch the headlamp in the down position before turning ignition off.

2. Purchase a new control unit from Suzuki .They did have 'em at £150 .

3 . Purchase one from the Katana owners Club UK .
It wont be in a black box but fits straight on and cost £30 + postsge. *
* these are only for Jap market if you have a canadian version you will need to alter the short loom to suit.

It usually does it when its sitting around but when out on the road its ok. I will live with it for now and sort it later.

I dont think they will want to sell me 1/2 a litre of super duper silver for some reason, they probably want to sell me 500 gallons to paint all those A380 engines I have sitting in my garden

you could always ring them and really challenge them to do an indestructo bike engine paint in a rattle can hey we'd all buy it!!!!
